KVPA Sports Teams

Year 5 & 6 Football

We are delighted to be a part of the Aylesbury School's Football Association this year, with both a boys' and a girls' football team entered into the competition. 

Both teams will take part in cup games (a knock-out competition) and the league (the league table made up of schools around our local area).

A 'Football Squad' has been selected by Mr Sheen, Mr Jackson and Mr Ellis-Green. These squads are made up of children who show promise in their footballing abilities, and also who represent the Academy values positively in all they do around the Academy. 

Training

Training takes place every Thursday with Mr Sheen, from 3.20-4.20pm. The Squad need to bring water, a snack, a sports/football kit from home, shin pads and, ideally, football boots (moulds or plastic studs, please; no metal studs).

Most of our competitive football games will also be arranged on a Thursday afternoon, to utilise Mr Sheen's knowledge and skills as an experienced football coach. If a competitive game is on for either team, then training will not take place.
