KVPA Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA)

The KVPA Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) plays an important role in bringing our Academy community together while raising funds to support fun and educational activities for our pupils.
Throughout the year, the PTFA helps organise a variety of much-loved events, including mufti days, regular tuck shops at the end of each half term and term, the Christmas Fayre, and special Mother’s Day and Father’s Day gift shops. These events give children the opportunity to celebrate their families while helping raise valuable funds for the Academy.
One of the highlights of the year is the annual Colour Run, held on the last day of school in July. This exciting event brings students, staff and families together for a joyful and memorable celebration to end the school year.
The PTFA also carries out “Random Acts of Kindness” throughout the year, such as providing ice lollies for all children during particularly hot days, adding small but meaningful moments of joy to school life.
The committee relies on the valued support of its dedicated volunteers, whose time, energy, and enthusiasm make these events possible. Through this collective effort, the KVPA PTFA enriches Academy life and helps create experiences that benefit all pupils.

Join the PTFA / Volunteer
Every parent is automatically a part of the PTFA! This does not necessarily mean attending meetings and giving up lots of your time. We are always happy to welcome new volunteers to the PTFA. You do not need to commit to every event — any help, big or small, makes a real difference.
You can get involved by:
- Helping at events such as the Christmas Fayre or Colour Run
- Assisting with tuck shops or mufti day activities
- Donating prizes, cakes, or supplies
- Sharing ideas for future events and fundraising
- Joining the PTFA committee
Volunteering is also a great way to meet other parents and become more involved in Academy life.
