Lunches and Milk
At Kingsbrook View, we provide free hot school meals as part of the government's Universal Free School Meals programme.
This will allow every Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 child to have a free hot lunch each day. Our catering provider is Innovate. Their website can be found HERE

Eligibility for Pupil Premium and Free School Meals
Families receiving Universal Credit may be entitled to Pupil Premium and Free School Meals.
This applies to children of families in Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 who already receive a free meal under the Government's Universal Free School Lunch Scheme and to all children in Key Stage 2.
If you think that you may be eligible, please complete the application form and return it to the Academy Office.
Parents/carers will be able to order milk for their KS1/FS child, by setting up an account with Cool Milk. Milk is free for under 5s.
For those children who are at KS2 and those at KS1/FS who opt out of hot meals, a packed lunch can be brought in.
Packed lunches should be healthy and we have the following rules about items that should not be included:
- No sweets or chocolate bars
- No fizzy drinks or energy drinks
- No nuts, nut products or nut spreads (including chocolate spreads with hazelnuts)

At FS/KS1 all children are provided with a piece of fruit or veg as a snack, however should you wish to provide your own fruit or veg snack please place this in their book bag/school bag in a suitable container.
For Ks2, children will need to bring their own snack which must be fruit or vegetables.
