Admission procedure for Foundation Stage (children aged 4-5):

In September 2025 Kingsbrook View Primary Academy will accept 60 children into the Foundation Stage in the September of the academic year of their fifth birthday. 

Prospective parents wishing to find out more about the academy are invited to contact the Academy office: office@kvpa.school.

Applications

All applicants must fill in the Local Education Authority starting primary school application form. Applications have now opened.

The closing date for Foundation Stage (Reception) is midnight on 15th January 2025. This means any applications after this date will be considered as late by the Local Authority.

National primary offer day is 16th April 2025. This is for children starting primary school or moving up to junior school in September 2025.

If you've applied online, you will receive an email from Buckinghamshire Council with your offer on 16th  April 2025. You can view your offer online from 2pm.

In-year admissions:

As an Academy, we handle our own in-year admissions. In-year admissions apply to anyone in Years 1 and above (Foundation stage after September entry). To enquire if we have spaces please contact the Academy office: office@kvpa.school.

The application form for in year admissions can be accessed by selecting the link below. If we do not have any space, you will be added to a waiting list. We will accept in year admissions for the below year groups:

  • Sep 2024/25 - Years 1/2/3/4/5
  • Sep 2025/26 - Years 1/2/3/4/5/6

Please note, Kingsbrook View Primary Academy will not give priority of Academy places to those children who attend the onsite nursery provision.

Admissions Appeals

If your child’s application for a place at the Academy is unsuccessful, you will be informed why admission was refused and given information about your option to appeal. IFPT's Admissions Appeals process is managed by Buckinghamshire Council. Buckinghamshire guidance to parents and guardians on the admission appeals process can be found using the following link:
Please pay particular attention to the “When to appeal” section of the guidance document above as it provides a clear timetable of timeframes and deadlines for both admission appeals for children starting academy/school in September of the following academic year and in-year admission appeals.
It is important to be aware that each appeal costs the Academy money it would otherwise spend on its current children’s education.
